NIELIT Guwahati Main Centre has released the official notification for admission in to the 4 year BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) course. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

NIELIT Guwahati was established in the year 2002 by the then Department of Information Technology (DIT) as CEDTI (Centre for Electronics Design and Technology, India) to bridge the gap between the academic institutions and industries. It runs several courses including BCA and MSc (CS) . BCA courses are available in Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Kokrajhar centres.

Course fee: Rs. 15,000 for first semester and Rs. 20000 for remaining semesters. For SC/ST course is free (Rs. 5000/- caution money will be deposited which is refundable at the end of the Course).

Eligibility Criteria of NIELIT BCA Admission 2024

Age Limit: Not mentioned.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be 10+2 passed in Science/ Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for reserved category) preferably with Computer Science/ Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or Diploma Engineering from AICTE recognized institute (As per ASTU norms) .

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test or interview. For spot admission, candidates will be selected on first, come first served basis.

Step 4: Next, enter all personal and educational information as required.

Step 5: Upload your educational and other documents as required.

Step 6: At the end, submit the form. An acknowledgement receipt will be generated.

Step 7: Also, take a print of the submitted form and acknowledgement copy .
